Case Manager – Community Reentry

The Case Manager – Community Reentry is responsible for providing direct support to adults in custody (AICs) returning home from federal incarceration. This position works in the community, connecting individuals with training, employment opportunities, transitional housing, transportation, and other supportive services. The ideal candidate is deeply committed to restorative justice, able to build trust across diverse populations, and highly organized in managing a caseload of clients at various stages of reentry.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Support and Case Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for a caseload of returning citizens in the community.
• Develop individualized reentry plans in collaboration with clients, including goals around employment, housing, health, and personal development.
• Provide hands-on support navigating public benefits, obtaining IDs, securing housing, and meeting parole/probation conditions.
• Refer and connect clients to job training programs, employers, mental health services, substance use recovery programs, childcare, and other resources.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure progress and adapt plans as needed. Community Coordination:
• Build and maintain relationships with local service providers, landlords, workforce agencies, employers, and community-based organizations.
• Work collaboratively with correctional facilities, parole officers, and reentry partners to ensure smooth transitions from custody to community.
• Advocate for clients in accessing services and overcoming barriers to reentry.
Data & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and timely case notes, service logs, and outcome tracking in the client database.
• Track and report on client progress, challenges, and service delivery outcomes to the Director of Programs.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and training sessions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Criminal Justice, Psychology, or a related field preferred OR equivalent combination of relevant work experience and training.
• 2–5 years of experience working in reentry services, case management, workforce development, substance use recovery, or other direct service roles supporting justice-impacted individuals.
• Lived experience with the criminal justice system and/or prior experience supporting individuals returning from incarceration is highly valued.
• Familiarity with reentry challenges including housing instability, employment barriers, and access to services.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
• Ability to travel within assigned region and occasionally visit correctional facilities (must pass security clearance).

Communications Coordinator

MAGCOR is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Communications Coordinator to develop and implement internal and external communications strategies that highlight the impact of our reentry and operational programs.
This position is split between two primary functions:
Reentry Communications: Telling the stories of transformation, training, and successful reentry for justice-impacted individuals.
Operational Communications: Promoting MAGCOR’s manufacturing capabilities, product offerings, and partnerships with state agencies and customers. The ideal candidate will be a strong storyteller, strategic thinker, and collaborator who is equally comfortable interviewing returning citizens, writing press releases, managing social media, creating marketing materials, and helping coordinate outreach for both programs and products.
Key Responsibilities: Reentry Side (50%)
• Develop materials (flyers, brochures, presentations) that explain MAGCOR’s reentry programs and services to stakeholders, returning citizens, and potential partners.
• Create and manage success stories of formerly incarcerated individuals who have benefited from MAGCOR’s training and support.
• Support outreach campaigns to employers, training institutions, community partners, and the public.
• Collaborate with the Reentry Team to document program milestones, track impact, and share outcomes.
• Manage social media channels and reentry-focused newsletters or email campaigns.
Operational Side (50%)
• Assist in promoting MAGCOR’s product lines and manufacturing capacity through print and digital marketing.
• Develop sales collateral, product catalogs, web content, and customer communications.

• Capture and promote behind-the-scenes stories of how MAGCOR products are made and the people making them.

Customer relations speciALIST

The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers in order to aid customers in their success using our products. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face. This position reports directly to the Chief Business Officer.
Responsibilities
Provide product knowledge and cross sale all MAGCOR's business segments: textiles, printing, metal fabrication, office furniture and dormitory mattresses. Always insuring a consistent high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional sales servicing.
Make visits to our customers through face-to-face meetings, as well as, telephone calls and emails to identify opportunities for growth in the Northern half of the state.
Create and maintain positive, long-term relationships and handle customer’s needs generating new sales with existing and potential customers.
Grow the customer base within the territory by identifying prospects, uncovering opportunities for new business and exceed expectations.
Maintain weekly call reports, which include an overview of meetings with customers, successes and top prospects.
Promptly and accurately provide quotes to customers.

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining a variety of data related to MAGCOR’s operations, reentry programs, training records, and client services. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that information is up-to-date, reliable, and accessible to support reporting, compliance, and program evaluation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with confidential information in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

• Enter data from source documents into designated databases, spreadsheets, or systems in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain and update records related to client participation, training completions, employment outcomes, inventory, production logs, or other relevant datasets.

The Employment Readiness Specialist plays a key role in bridging the gap between returning citizens and the job market. This position works directly with employers to understand hiring needs, align those needs with training and certification opportunities for justice-impacted individuals, and support clients in becoming job-ready. The Specialist also engages new employers across Mississippi, promotes fair-chance hiring, and develops incentive-based agreements to support employment pathways for adults in custody (AICs) and returning citizens.
Key Responsibilities:
Employer Engagement & Training Coordination:
• Build and maintain relationships with employers across Mississippi to identify in-demand skills and job openings suitable for returning citizens.
• Collaborate with training providers, correctional programs, and workforce boards to design and coordinate job-specific training and certification pipelines.
• Align training plans with current industry needs and communicate those pathways clearly to clients and staff.
• Develop employer incentive agreements, including wage subsidies, tax credit utilization, and other fair-chance hiring benefits.
• Promote and educate employers about the benefits of hiring formerly incarcerated individuals, reducing stigma and supporting inclusive hiring practices.
Client Preparation & Support:
• Work directly with returning citizens to assess employment readiness, including reviewing resumes, interview preparation, digital literacy, and soft skills development.
• Coordinate job readiness workshops in both correctional facilities and the community.

The Facilities-Based Case Manager is responsible for providing pre-release case management services to incarcerated individuals inside Yazoo Federal Prison. This role focuses on preparing adults in custody (AICs) for reentry by helping them develop personalized transition plans, connecting them with resources, and coordinating with external partners to ensure support is in place upon release. The ideal candidate is someone who can work collaboratively in a secure environment, navigate institutional processes, and build trusting relationships with clients. This position requires clearance through an NCIC background check and authorized access to correctional facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Support and Pre-Release Planning:
• Meet with clients inside correctional facilities to assess reentry needs, develop individualized transition plans, and identify goals related to employment, housing, education, and health.
• Provide guidance on obtaining identification, social security cards, and necessary documentation prior to release.
• Connect clients with training opportunities, certification programs, and job readiness resources available during incarceration.
• Educate clients about available community-based services and coordinate warm handoffs to community case managers and support partners.
Collaboration and Coordination:
• Serve as the key liaison between facility staff, MAGCOR reentry programs, and external service providers.
