What do you do at MPIC?

I manage a shop of 22 workers, schedule production totals for sorting, cleaning, processing and shipping of spools.

What are your credentials/education/past experience, for working in your position?

Military Retiree, Alignment and Door install technician at NNA, AA-degree in Computer Network Technology, Managed teams of 7-9 members installing communication systems all over the world. Clerk at MPIC transition Center.

What is something people in your industry have to deal with that you want to fix?

I don’t know of any other Prison Industries in the US doing what we do here in the J&J Clean Room.

What’s your background?

Born in Canton, MS raised in Jackson, MS. JPS graduate of Jim Hill High School, joined the USAF after graduation and retired in 2003, worked at the Nissan plant for six years before going back to school.
