About Kenny

What do you do at MPIC?

Shop foreman for the recycling shop in Fayette.

What are your credentials/education/experience for working in your position?

Unfortunately, I only have a 12th grade education, but I have a lot of so called “street smarts.” I can run with the best of them! Just about half my life I’ve managed three businesses, scheduled crews, shipping and receiving and sales.

What is something people in your industry must deal with that you want to fix?

What we are going through right now with the chaos in the prisons. Having the right people in the right positions that care for others. These guys understand they screwed up. This also goes for MPIC too.

What do you like about working at MPIC?

I enjoy the challenge.

What’s your background?

I grew up in Kenner, LA. I was in the navy for three years. I was a Kenner Police Officer for ten years, then started working for the family business (fencing company) until my father retired. I then went and started working for my friend’s fencing company. I worked there for ten years where we grew the company from 750k to over 6 million per year.

What are the values that drive you?

Knowing that I am helping others. Possibly changing their lives. I enjoy drawing upon my experiences to help others through tough times.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I love being outdoors, fishing, and playing football. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
